This is some Gourmet Shit

I made myself and the Captain some gourmet burgers from the Aldi haul.

Mince, S&P, Dijon & Wholegrain mustard, grated red onion, a few bread crumbs and an egg.
Form into patties and griddle.
Warm/toast brioche burger buns.

Slice onion into rings, put into a bag with flour and sugar. Shake and dust, fry off until golden and crispy.

I had goats cheese, red onion chutney, burger pattie, onion rings & salad.

My other consisted of sour cream & chive dip with Brie, onion & chive cheese, pattie, rings & salad.

Oozing, fresh, decadent goodness.
The brioche buns are a must have!

Quick eastern rice

Warm garlic cloves with skin on in a dry pan.
Remove from pan and add oil.
Add minced chillies, chopped garlic and prawns.
Salt, pepper, lemon juice, soy and sweet chilli sauce.
Chuck in cooked rice ("Dine In" 2mins in the microwave), crack in an egg and fold everything together.
Grate on frozen scotch bonnet peppers and season with soy to taste.

Quick, cheap, yum.

The Captain's fave

This is the first thing I cooked for my bf and it's probably still his favourite.
Chicken, cheese and wholegrain mustard pie. Served with honey glazed new potatoes.
And bacon jam made a one time appearance.

Just got back from Spain with nothing but chorizo in the fridge

Spaghetti, chorizo, garlic and oil
Simply tasty.

Jamie's mothership: Lamb

Proud of this one... Dinner for 6 but 5 hungry ones...
Garlic and rosemary 4 hour roasted shoulder/leg of lamb with roast potatoes, caramelised carrots, parsnips. Onion and lamb fat gravy.

For a quick effortless dessert I made some puff pastry parcels. Filled them with chocolate pieces and topped with with baileys extra thick cream, strawberries and amaretti biscuits. Fresh, light, flavoursome.

Here is your Diiiirty hangover saviour

Macaroni cheese, fried with bacon, served with BBQ sauce in toast.

....
You're welcome.
