Dollop of sour cream to serve.
"I don't want to take over the world, I just want to feed it. But not in a geldof kinda way" Just the ramblings of a young thing, writing her way through her uni diet. (Diet here, in no way means I'm restricting myself of any kinds of food. That's just not a thing with me.) Great lover of great food.

AonT (dinner)
After seeing the buzzfeed post on sexy ways to have avocado on toast I thought I want in, however when I looked again they were all simple/boring sounding recipes so I decided to chuck my left over quorn chilli on and grilldle a few slices of the creamy green for the top.
AonT
So I've found recently discovered Avocado on toast is a ting (thanks to Buzzfeed) And I'm now experimenting.
Fresh farmhouse white, sliced by yours truly
A whole avocado mashed with plenty of S&P and a dash of lemon juice
Topped with a poached egg

This is some Gourmet Shit
I made myself and the Captain some gourmet burgers from the Aldi haul.
Mince, S&P, Dijon & Wholegrain mustard, grated red onion, a few bread crumbs and an egg.
Form into patties and griddle.
Warm/toast brioche burger buns.
Slice onion into rings, put into a bag with flour and sugar. Shake and dust, fry off until golden and crispy.
I had goats cheese, red onion chutney, burger pattie, onion rings & salad.
My other consisted of sour cream & chive dip with Brie, onion & chive cheese, pattie, rings & salad.
Oozing, fresh, decadent goodness.
The brioche buns are a must have!
Quick eastern rice
Warm garlic cloves with skin on in a dry pan.
Remove from pan and add oil.
Add minced chillies, chopped garlic and prawns.
Salt, pepper, lemon juice, soy and sweet chilli sauce.
Chuck in cooked rice ("Dine In" 2mins in the microwave), crack in an egg and fold everything together.
Grate on frozen scotch bonnet peppers and season with soy to taste.
Quick, cheap, yum.

The Captain's fave
This is the first thing I cooked for my bf and it's probably still his favourite.
Chicken, cheese and wholegrain mustard pie. Served with honey glazed new potatoes.
